We have some special performers this year namely Tanya Batt with her Belle on a Bike - A Caravan of Stories. Storyteller Tanya Batt and musician Peter Forster bring to you stories and music on the back of a bike.

Back by popular demand is the guys from Big Little Circus - this time they are doing a special Kiwi Circus BBQ show.

What should be simple method of cooking sausages and other meat based produce, soon turns into absolute mayhem!

PPS. All food is hypothetical - BYO imagination! Again there will be three shows throughout the day, so keep your eyes and ears peeled for this - Not to be missed.

Not One More Acre: The Maori Land March 40 Years On

In 1975, a group set off from Te Hapua to march to Wellington to raise awareness of Māori land loss. Known as Te Roopu o te Matakite, the group was led by the redoubtable Whina Cooper and adopted the slogan ‘not one more acre’.

The impact of the march has been far-reaching - it raised the profile of land issues and influenced other developments regarding the Treaty of Waitangi.

Taking as its starting point Christian Heinegg’s comprehensive photographic record of the march, this exhibition considers its enduring significance and the status of the marchers’ concerns today.
In 2015, this photo exhibition was held at the National Library of New Zealand to remember 40 years since the Māori Land March.

It is on loan from the Alexander Turnbull Library and can be seen at Square Edge.
